DESCRIPTION:
Patented KONTROL SCREEN drum heads and patented TE3.2 (Transparent Energy Transfer) trigger technology allows the drum to respond exactly like an acoustic drum without the acoustic volume. TE3.2 trigger technology defines "State of the Art" triggering capabilities with super fast, accurate, dynamic, position sensing, modulation, and dual trigger capabilities with compatable modules. The shell of the ACUPAD is steel re-enforced polycarbonate (bullet proof plastic). The durability, non-resonance, and computer designed (CAD) to eliminate false triggering and x-talk makes this drum an alternative. This means consistent and accurate sensitivity, tracking and dual triggering (head and rim). Tension rods thread into brass receivers for smooth and accurate head adjustment, and the internal mounting clamp (accepts Pearl style 7/8" tom arms) is indestructible heat treated spring steel with un-strippable stainless steel pem nut insert for years of trouble free operation. Standard drum key tension rods, clamp and memory lock key-way for ease of set up and consistent positioning. Triple chrome plated steel hoops with removable rubber RIM TRIM for enhanced quiet operation. Black Matte finish. These drums truly are in a class by themselves. The 10" TE3.2 ACUPAD features dual trigger (head and rim) design for use as snare or toms with compatible dual trigger modules.
