drum-tec diabolo Shell Set (Black)

++ Made in Germany ++

The drum-tec Series diabolo is, like its big brother (the drum-tec Pro-Series), a completely handmade Self-development and the consequence of years of Experience of the E-Drum Professionals! We mount the complete Series in manual work, as we can meet our Perfection Claim only this way! For this Series, we exclusively make use of laqued Shalls, which have been produced especially for our needs and which are perfectly tuned to our newly developed Trigger-System. All required components are industrially manufactured in laser-controlled precision work in Germany - especially for us!

The drum-tec diabolo series supports all relevant Features like e.g. Positioning sensing (at  Roland TD-12/20 sound modules) as well as complete Dual-Triggering at the Toms. The Bass Drum is equipped with a newly developed damping system, which provides an authentic Play-Feeling at minimal volume development.

All Pads are equipped with double strained drum-tec design Mesh heads! They provide highest Playing-comfort, best Trigger-characteristics and an extremely high service life. To get the best trigger results, we even install here some components of the High-End Trigger-System of the drum-tec Pro-Series.

The drum-tec diabolo Shell Set is the perfect Mesh head Set with a noble Design in the medium price-class.

The components of the drum-tec diabolo Shell Set (Black):

  • 2 x drum-tec series diabolo 12"x5,0" Tom/Snare Drum
  • 2 x drum-tec series diabolo 10"x5,0" Tom Tom Black Finish

Hi Marcus, I have received the drums today and they have been installed already. I already new the feeling of the drums from the lessons at Patricks drumschool, but playing the Roland once just before the drum-tec ones is shocking. The natural feel of the rebounce and the detailed triggering of the Diabolos is awesome. Especially when playing softly. Of course all this is written in the description on your website, but that can be considered marketing. I have only played 30 minutes or so, but it seems like one of the best investments in years. As you write on your website that you might fall in love... Well this is love at first sight (or feel actually). Thanks and all the best. Ronald

My return of experience after 2 days practising on my Diabolo : So GREAT !! :-) I had a TD3 KW. First, I upgraded the module to TD9 and the hi-hat to VH11. This week, I changed the pads with the diabolo set ... and ... can't find words !! (sorry for my english) ;-) First of all, the delivery was very quick : order on sunday and I recieved everything at home on Wednesday (in France !!) I bought a Roland MDS-9 stand to fix all : it fits perfectly (just need to move back the place of the snare arm of the stand). Now, the looking ... *gloups* can't stop drooling ... ;-) So Wonderfull !! Even my wife said : "WOW ! Your drum is like a decoration in "my" room now !" ;-) And the feeling when playing : I'm a beginner in drumming (less than 2 years) but I feel like in one day, I improve my drumming like several weeks practicing ... OK, I know it's more exciting than dexterity ! ;-) But feelings are really natural and very close to my teacher's drum (an acoustic one). Nothing to compare with the TD3 kit (even if I always consider that the TD3KW is a good kit). To my opinion, the feelings are much better than the PD105 or PD125 I tried in some shops. Finally, the noise when I play using headphones is globally lower than with my TD3, except for the kick (which is a bit more noisy ... but so more realistic !!). Absolutely no complain from my family (I often practices at the evening). In conclusion, I'm very happy and proud of my new set !! ... but, now, I have no more "material" excuse on
